NMTU was formed in 2001 to address issues surrounding our coldwater fisheries, including our native trout and the fragile habitats that are easily impacted by misuse.
Over ther past several years, we have worked on both Gila and Rio Grande cutthroat trout as well as habitat issues like mining, energy development and public lands protections that can impact all our coldwater fisheries.
Even though we all fish, we are not a fishing club, but rather a group of anglers and conservationists concerned about protecting our fishing heritage both for ourselves and for future generations. If you’ve found this website, we probably don’t have to tell you what a great place New Mexico is to fish in. And we want to keep it that way.

We are a fishing lodge in the Amalia/
Costilla area and also offer a private stream. I am life time member of Trout Unlimited.

How we would go about listing our lodge with this site?
